Youth Program
The Black Dolphin Dive Club’s Youth Program goals are the same as the National Association of Black Scuba Divers (NABS) and that is to promote a sense of pride and camaraderie among our youth by challenging them through involvement in aquatic activities and the marine environment. BDD Youth Program focuses on producing successful, confident young leaders who will have a strong impact on their communities and chosen professions.
Throughout the year, the Youth Program organizes dive-related activities that stress an interest in the marine sciences. The
youth interact and build relationships with a variety of other youths within their age group who have similar interests. In the past, the activities have included dive training and youth summits.
